Aita opened its doors in May 2012 in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Brooklyn: Clinton Hill.

As an italian restaurant we cook elegant, rustic, honest food that brings back traditional, nostalgic flavors, and also new inspired dishes from places we love.

We base our menu on local and seasonal ingredients often coming from farms and green markets. The restaurant reflects our food; our guests, welcomed by a friendly and warm service, will find themselves in a cozy environment as if they were in the home of good friend.

Our goal at Aita is to create for you a moment of sharing, of emotion, and memory- and most importantly, to see a smile on your face

We accept a limited number of reservations through Open Table or via email or phone.

We also offer private events and dining for larger parties for all sorts of occasions.

Please keep in mind that due to the small size of the restaurant we can only hold your reservation for fifteen (15) minutes, if your fully party is not arrived without advice we will release the table and will treat your group as a walk-in, doing our best to seat your party when a table becomes available.

The Mayflower

Tucked into Waverly side is The Mayflower a small and intimate bar that offers seasonal cocktails, wine and beer.

Open every night and all day on Sundays, it is the perfect spot to have a drink or wait for a table next door. 

Mayflower is also available to book for private events and dining.

We are excited to announce Aita Trattoria opened its doors on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights.

The Trattoria, is a quaint rustic place where the food is prepared as it would be at home, service is casual and people can enjoy great food and wine and be treated as part of the family.

After the success of our first Pop Up dinner we are thrilled to announce our second one happening at Aita in Clinton Hill on Wednesday, March 2nd.


Chef Silvia and her guest Chef Richard Arteaga will prepare a dinner based on the foundation of every culinary culture :


This ancient food gets often underrated or only seen as a healthy choice, from here the idea of changing the rules of the game and taking grains to a higher level with a whole new different approach.


Menu will be served in five courses for the amount of $45 per person.

Beverage Pairing will be available upon request.
